Igor

Biographical Notes
Igor Carlos Stukowski was from all accounts born sometime around the 12th century in Transylvania. His Father, Igor Stukowski, was the handyman for Count Vlad Dracula. His mother was Spanish noblewoman who had the misfortune of visiting the wrong castle at the wrong time. Even today the local gypsies whisper about the screams that accompanied Igor's birth.

Dracula was most impressed by the young Igor who had mastered the difficult arts of conjuration and evocation before reaching his teens. Dracula became the young man's mentor, sending him to the University of Transylvania where Igor graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Metaphysics with a minor in Talismans. Eager for knowledge, young Igor continued his education with a Master's Degrees in Sorcery and Necromancy. Finally he earned his Ph.D in Alchemy, publishing his thesis "Mercury's Role in Random Physical Mutations" sometime in 1390.

For the last 600 years Igor has been wandering the world while involving himself in some of the stranger events in history. Historians and eyewitnesses have seen his hunchbacked form in Jerusalem during the last crusade, in Paris during the French Revolution, and in Moscow fleeing an angry crowd of Bolsheviks. It was rumored that Stalin had a million ruble price on Igor's head. More recently Igor and his companion Voltair had been seen at the Summer of Love during the 60s and helping to tear down the Berlin wall in the 80s. The last Igor sighting has him tending a bar in New York's Greenwich village. It is rumored that Homeland Security is wondering what he is up to and afraid they might find out.

Voltair

Voltair was not a self made man. As a matter of fact he was sewn together by the world famous surgeon Victor von Frankenstein with the alchemical aid of Igor Stukowski. Igor and Frankenstein learned very quickly that Voltair was very much his own person. Since the unfortunate events of 1822 when the ignorant peasants revolted and burned down Castle Frankenstein, Voltair has been Igor's constant companion and assistant.

Smart, shrewd, and debonair, Voltair is very much the lady's man as well as the financial side of the partnership. As a matter of fact, Voltair graduated with honors from the Harvard Business School. When not aiding Igor in their mysterious missions, or taking care of business, Voltair enjoys horticulture, motorcycles, Chopin, and beating the undead snot out of the Vampire Clausenwitz.
